Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service engaged Kristy to create a suite of interpretive signage for Minerva National Park in central Queensland. This fascinating, Glencore sponsored project took Kristy and writer Margot Warnett on site to research the local cultural history content. Coupled with the stunning ancient volcanic landscape witnessed, the existing old-timer human stories were also just as captivating. With all these assets gathered along the way, it was an easy project to creatively interpret and showcase. Laser cut Corten screens forming feature panel backdrops for new shelters; fabricated sign frames; supports; sculptural elements and hardware were delivered for an easy self install by Rangers on Park.
