Biography
Kristy is the principal art director and curator of Kristy Day Graphic Design. She draws on a broad skill-set, creating and delivering projects for clients nationally. She brings a lifetime of experience in art with over 30 years professional experience in graphic design and illustration.
Servicing many regions with local knowledge and expertise, Kristy is particularly passionate about natural and cultural history interpretation, and producing Indigenous resources for natural resource management, community health and well-being.
With a life-time as an artist and 3 years formal study of art, advertising and graphic design in the late 80’s, Kristy has solid foundations in all disciplines of graphic reproduction.
In the interpretation and wayside sign space, Kristy has strengths in project management; brand strategy and concept plan development; copy writing; graphic design; illustration; traditional owner engagement; and has a hands on aptitude for structural design and fabrication for bespoke works including public art.
